Free Vein Screening / Consultation

Your initial appointment will consist of a complimentary consultation where we will review your medical history, current symptoms and concerns. We will also explain your diagnosis and treatment potions. Please assist us by providing the following information at the time of your consultation:

• A list of medications you are presently taking
• Your medical history
• Prior vein treatment history, if applicable

Be prepared to discuss:

• Why you want the surgery, your expectations and desired outcome
• Medical conditions, drug allergies and medical treatments
• Use of current medications, vitamins, herbal supplements, alcohol, tobacco and drugs
• Previous surgeries

Your surgeon may also:

• Evaluate your general health status and any pre-existing health conditions or risk factors
• Take photographs for your medical record
• Discuss our options and recommend a course of treatment
• Discuss likely outcomes and any risks or potential complications
• Recommend a venous ultrasound for further evaluation
